Business Spotlight: Spice Trail

Spice Trail, a takeout Indian restaurant, opened about a month ago in Miller Plaza. The restaurant specializes in authentic Indian food and offers a variety of Indian-centric merchandise including unique gifts and wares handmade from India.

Spice Trail started as a pop-up diner in various restaurants around Chattanooga. They gained popularity at these pop-ups and started to regularly sell out their multi-course dinners, leading them to begin renovation on their current restaurant in Miller Plaza.

“We love that we are a part of a small community here at Miller Plaza and an even bigger Downtown community,” Spice Trail owner and chef Sujata Singh said. “We also love our proximity to so many businesses and neighborhoods.”

On Spice Trail’s menu, you’ll find Indian cuisine rooted in rich traditions and reimagined with local ingredients such as bihari chicken, rajmah, chicken makhani, and tamarind rice. Their menu is seasonal and is updated on a weekly basis. All meals are takeout-only and ready for you to grab and go.
