Escape Experience Opens New Downtown Location

Escape Experience, Chattanooga’s first escape room experience, opened Downtown at 222 Broad Street this fall, with one experience and more on the way.

“This opportunity came to open a new spot Downtown and we’re just so excited to be part of the Broad Street community,” said owner Michael Rowland. “We love Chattanooga, and having all the visibility and foot traffic is already bringing a lot of traffic to our business.”

The C-Block Prison Break experience is currently up and running, and a second unique concept will open in mid-December. Over the next year, the business will expand and build out a total of five experiences, two of which will be completely unique and unlike any other storylines at Escape Experience’s other locations.

“Even if you’ve visited one of our other locations, you can come and experience the updated version of C-Block at the downtown location,” Rowland said. “We’ve changed puzzles and added technology and details.”

The original Escape Experience opened nearly 10 years ago on Chattanooga’s southside, and they also have a unique train car experience at the Choo-Choo.

Rowland added that the DCA has been helpful to his new business.

“Steve is really helpful whenever we need something, and the Ambassadors keep everything looking great,” Rowland said. “This spot Downtown is ideal. We're especially excited to be right across from High Point and Trail Town Coffee. We’re also seeing traffic from people dining at Riverport Grille. People come out of the restaurant and walk in. This is a prime location.”
