Trail Town Coffee Opens in the District

Join Trail Town Coffee for a Ribbon Cutting!

Trail Town Coffee was founded by local Chattanooga outdoor enthusiasts who share a passion for both adventure and coffee. The shop will officially celebrate its opening on Nov. 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with a ribbon cutting and the community is encouraged to attend. The shop is located next to High Point.

"High Point Climbing and Fitness has been a part of downtown Chattanooga now for over a decade, and we saw an opportunity to create something that would not only serve our members but also enhance the downtown experience for everyone. Trail Town Coffee is our way of connecting with both the local community and visitors in a new way," said owner John Weigle.

There is a great upstairs area where people can work, hang out, study, read or just enjoy the space.

"We wanted to create a space that complements Chattanooga's outdoor lifestyle and vibrant culture. Trail Town Coffee offers food, beverages, and a climbing retail shop, all under one roof. It's a locally owned and operated business, with Johnny O'Brien and myself leading the vision. Our goal is to embrace the outdoors and the spirit of Chattanooga through this coffee shop,” Wiygul added.

Breakfast sandwiches, croissants, muffins, and breakfast burritos are on the menu! The extensive drink list includes hot and cold coffee options, alongside many varieties of tea. Limited lunch options are also available.

“The Ambassadors are an incredible resource for us. Their dedication to keeping downtown welcoming and clean makes a real difference for local businesses like ours. We appreciate their presence and support in creating a safe and vibrant atmosphere for everyone who visits the area,” Wiygul said.
