Committee Reports

For the Finance Committee, G. Stalans reported that $770,000 in assessments had been collected. This figure does not include the  $100,000 Lyndhurst grant for start-up expenses. $55,000 of this grant has been spent. In regard to the status of the negotiations with non profits, it was pointed out that the BID by law must impose assessments on parking lots owned by two of them. (The parking lots  are taxable property.)

4. Executive Director Report

S. Brookes reported on his recent activities in launching the DCA. He also stressed the importance of communication between the DCA, the public, and stakeholders in the district.

The meeting adjourned at 3:19.
