Time: 2:00-3:40 p.m.
Location: River City Company (Large Conference Room)

1. Call to Order

Steve Hunt, Chairman of the Chattanooga BID, called the meeting to order. Executive Committee members attending were Kelly Fitzgerald, Charles Perry, and Gordon Stalans. 

Also present were Julia Bursch and Amy Donahue of River City Company and Donald O‘Connor of the BID board.


2. Old Business

(a) The committee reviewed the third draft of the RFP for Vendors. It was pointed out that hiring criteria need to follow EEOC guidelines.

(b) Outreach/Communications Committee

A. Donahue will email an account of BID activities to the Board and after review by the Board to stake-holders in the BID district.

K. Fitzgerald will report to the Board next week on communications/outreach matters.

(c) J. Bursch reviewed the timeline in terms of the process for hiring an Executive Director and issuing a RFP from Vendors. Y. Freeman has reported more interest in the Executive Director position.

Y. Freeman will be asked to submit an accounting as to where the P.U.M.A. billing stands.

(d) A. Donahue will solicit more suggestions from Board Members, stake-holders and others as to issues and problem areas in the BID.


3. New Business

(a) The question of staffing an operations manager was put off until fall.

(b) G. Stalans for the Finance Committee reported that the establishment of an account at First Volunteer Bank is in process and that work on an RFP for local banks continues as well as on an application for tax-exempt status.
