Business Spotlight: Burger Republic

Burger Republic opened a few months ago at 203 W Aquarium Way in Downtown Chattanooga. Originating in Nashville, this gourmet burger joint offers everything from unique burgers to spiked shakes.

Conveniently located in the heart of Downtown, this restaurant is the perfect place to eat if you’re going to a Lookouts game, visiting the Tennessee Aquarium, or shopping around the Downtown stores. Their patio is great for outside dining and enjoying the fall weather.

The restaurant uses only certified Black Angus beef patties. It incorporates creative ingredients into its burgers including Vermont-aged white cheddar and Guinness-braised bacon on the Burger Republic burger and lump crab and hollandaise sauce on the Burger Oscar.

Burger Republic is well-known for its appetizers. On the menu, you’ll find Memphis tenders, hand-battered chicken tenders tossed in Memphis spices with ranch and barbeque sauce, and Nashville hot tots, dusted in Nashville hot spices and drizzled with house-made buffalo sauce.

Burger Republic has plenty of vegan and lighter options including salads and customizable burgers. You can choose to swap the Angus beef patty out for all-natural turkey, a house-made veggie burger, chicken breast, or an impossible burger. You can also substitute brioche buns for a whole wheat bun, a pretzel bun, or a gluten-free bun.

For dessert, the restaurant offers a variety of shakes including Nutella, assassination by chocolate, chocolate peanut butter, cookie butter, and more. Those looking for something alcoholic can choose from options like an apple pie moonshine spiked shake with Tennessee apple pie moonshine, apple pie filling, and spices or a spiked Reese’s malt shake with house-infused Reese’s peanut butter cup vodka and malt.
